It is better that ten Liberals be free to commit sin and crime than that one Catholic should be associated with hypocrisy (however tenuously)

Apparently, The Sunday Telegraph believes that Poland's Catholic President is now morally obliged to promote adultery since his daughter is reported to have committed it (“Daughter's adultery rocks moral crusader”, 17/6/07; emphasis added)? Does this mean that Britain's Prime Minister was obliged to have promoted under-age drinking and giving false information to the police (8/7/00)? This inconsistent reporting only serves to illustrate the infinite loop of circular reasoning that is at the heart of Liberalism. Liberals argue that sin and crime are not immoral and, therefore, that any premiss, no matter how fallacious, tends to prove that.
