If you Want the Freedom to Kill, Attack Catholic Truth – It's the Reason why Killing is Wrong |

A letter writer in Thursday's Daily Telegraph, agitating for the (further) legalisation of murder, does not waste his time arguing about fictional concepts such as “human rights”1: he launches straight into an attack on the Catholic Church (see fourth letter under “A law for assisted suicide might not have helped”, 26/1/06). Clearly he understands that, whereas “human rights” are subjective and easily juggled around to get the desired result, as a matter of objective truth, God created and redeemed man. That truth is the measure of our love of neighbour, and it is that (unsuppressed) truth that exposes such wickedness as the treatment of Haleigh Poutre, reported in WorldNetDaily (25/1/06). |

This tactic is merely an extreme manifestation of a general Liberal strategy that seeks to invent moral positions on the mere strength of falsely claiming that the universe has no Cause (see also point 6 below). Another example may be found here (12/2/07). |

1It appears the Socialist Government feels it necessary to spend £25,000 on trying to convince the public that “human rights” can be derived from common sense. Perhaps an additional £25,000 would be required to convince the public that this is not just an example of suggesting a proposition merely by stating it in a confident manner (and with taxpayer-funded financial support).
